I am honored to have the opportunity to help others find connection and renewal in a place of safety. Moongsong Farm is a space where you can let your light shine, touch your joy, and remember who you truly are.
I had the privilege of working with Liz and having her wonderful horses work with/on me one beautiful summer day a year ago. I have been around horses all my life, and this was a very unique experience for me. The horses were connected to some deep and present energies and allowed me to witness that, while Liz carefully oversaw their work so that I felt relaxed and safe throughout the session, as well as in awe of what was happening. It was a gentle and profound experience all at the same time, and one that I continue to revisit in my own mind as significant and memorable. It has opened up new channels for me in ways of seeing and being with these magnificent beings who choose to share their lives and their wisdom with us if we have eyes to see.
I have had the pleasure to connect with Elizabeth Phillipson and her extraordinary herd of equine healers, and the experiences have been profoundly transformational. It would not be possible to share in mere words the experience of being on Liz's table outside during a thunderstorm---the energy and exuberance of the natural world relit my pilot light that had become far too dim from the cares of the world. My times there continue to unfold in many ways, and I remain truly grateful and awed by such a sweet team of healers--two and four legged.
After my session with the horses I noticed my vision seemed clearer and colors brighter. Also, my mood has been very up since then. Having injuries that I assumed were going to be lifelong I experienced decreased pain in some areas and no pain in others as well as increased mobility! I had no idea what to expect from the session - I am blown away by the changes in these injuries and the incredible peacefulness I experienced during the time at the farm. I am looking forward to working with the horses again.
I was looking for alternative therapies that would get me out of my head (meditation, hypnotherapy, etc.) to deal with issues that had been closing me off for some time -- issues that were affecting me physically as well as emotionally. Liz's workshops were recommended to me by my physical therapist, who was familiar with Liz, her horses, and equinisity. Although I had been around horses before, it had been many years, and I found that I had to approach the horses with an openness that I was used to guarding against in my human interactions. That open approach awakened a receptivity that gave me an entirely new way of looking at the world. Liz integrated reflection (journal-writing, walking meditation), energy work, and sharing into the workshop, which gave us time and space to process our experiences. The effects of the first workshop with the horses were remarkable for me -- my mood was up, my heart was open, my connection to the universe stronger -- so I went back for a second workshop. The workshops with Liz and her horses helped me tap into a new way of experiencing the world around me that I've been able to continue in my daily life. Moonsong Farm is truly a haven.
